Frequently Asked Questions

Open enrollment starts after spring break in April.  The first day of school usually is in late July or early August.  Enrollment mid year depends on availability.  Perspective families should call the preschool office to set up a tour.  During the appointment, questions can be answered and paperwork can be filled out.

Giant Preschool operates during all regular school days and teacher work days. The preschool does not offer summer care.

We are a nurturing preschool that provides learning opportunities all day. Our teachers are knowledgeable on Early Childhood milestones and provide a warm environment for children to grow and learn at their own pace.

We offer full time preschool only.

Giant Preschool is open to all children between the ages of 3-5. Residency is not required to attend Giant Preschool.

Giant Preschool is eligible to receive CCDF and On My Way Pre-k vouchers. Families must be approved for these vouchers prior to the first day of attendance.

Giant Preschool is Paths to Quality Level 4, NAEYC accredited preschool. Our teachers are required to have CDA, Childcare Development Associate, or a Bachelor’s Degree with early childhood experience. The teachers are also required to have 20+ hours of in-service training every year to renew these programs.
